ALLEGED MISAPPROPRIATION 'OF NAVAL FUNDS.

A warrant has beon issued for the arrest of Assistant - Paymaster Craddock, of H M s. Katoomba, on a cbarcro ot misappropriating the funds of the Navy. Two days a*o ho cashed a cheque for £2,400, which was,intended to cover the expenses of the forthcoming cruise. Ho letc the ship the same nighb, and has not since returned. Tho whole of the proceeds of tho cheque are missing.
