THE LIQUOR LAWS,

London, March 29. Mr Chamberlain states that the -lew rules for governing Norfolk Island applied to the keeping of alcohol. Under the existing law the importation of spirituous liquors, excepting, for medicinal purposes, is absolutely prohibited, and there was no reason, he added, to suppose the sale of liquor was intended under the new rules.
