MINING FLANS.
(Bt XEI.EBRAPU.—-OWN COKRKSPONBENT.)
Coromandel, thia day.
Great dissatisfaction has been expressed in bho past ab bhe difficulty experienced in getting mining plans from the Survey Office ab Auckland. In this way prospective titles to claims are lapsing through tbe expiration of the time allowed by the Government for the completion of survey. Whereas by tho now Mining Acb Amendmenb, 1896, "this time haa been limited to three months, something is required to bo dono without delay to prevent serious trouble Warden Kenny has solved tho difficulty: Ec intimated in Courb bo-day thab in future all plans, as soon aa completed by the surveyor, will require to be sent firsb to the Warden's Court to be marked and dated by the Mining Registrar, who will then forward them to bho Survey Office. In this way the regulations will be complied with which require that plans must be in Courb within bhree months. The whole of the plans now in the Survey Office, Auckland, through arrangements with tbe chiof surveyor, will now bo torwarded to the respective Warden's Courts for signature of the Mining Registrar, which will prevent any possibility of title lapsing.
