DEATH FROM BLOODPOISONING.
A young man named Harry Waterhouse, 19 yeare of age, eon of the late Mr Waterhouse, of Mount Albert, died under sad circumstances ab the Hospital on Friday. The cause of ' hia death waa blood poisoning, caused in a very simple manner. A small cub or abrasion appeared on his lower lip, and he pricked it with a needle. It is thought that in thisway some poisonous matter was introduced into the abra*ion, and on Saturday week signs of blood poisoning manifested themselves. On Tuesday he was taken to the Hospital, but in epite of all that could be done for him he only lived for a few days longer. The deceased had been employed as a clerk by Mr J. Armitage. The funeral took place from the residence of his stepfather, Herr Zimmermann, O'Rorke-street, this afternoon, the inbeimenb being ab the Church of England Cemetery, Mount Albert. Last evening in Sb. Maebhew's Church the vicar made reference to the death of Mr Waterhouse, who had been a teacher in tbe Sunday-school, and at the close of the service the "Dead March in Saul was played, the congregation standing.
