The London Stock Exchange fund for the relief of tho Indian famine has closed aba total of £15,688. Donations are being organised in connecbion with bhe board schools. Two million people are now engaged on the relief works in India, aba daily cosb of two hundred thousand rupees. The Venezuelan Governmenb has paid an indemnity of £5,000 for arresting bhe Bribish officials ah Uruan. The National Mortgage Company of New Zealand shows a proflb of £10,670. A dividend of 5 per cent, is declared, and I £1,685 carried forward.
