ARSENIC IN OATMEAL.
SEVEN PERSONS POISONED.

Hawera, Thursday,
This morning a poisoning accident occurred. Yesterday a man named Ticklepenny, working in the country, brought homo some oatmeal found in a barn. This morning his wife and neighbour cooked and ate some, as did also five children. Shortly afterwards all were seized with violent vomiting, and their condibion was critical for a time, but they are now out of danger. Ib turns oat that the oatmoal was mixed with arsenic, and was used by bhe man's employer to poison rats.
