Nelson Bros, received a London cable yesterday as followa : — " Tho frozen msafc market is very depressed. Last week sales wero difficult to effect, even at reduced prices. Tho mutton afloat from Australia is very heavy. Quotations : Beat Canterbury mutton, 3£d per lb : Dunedin, 3d ; Napier and North Island, 2^d."
