McQUOID.—On January 21, 1897, at his residence, Symonds-atreefc, Onehunga, after a short and painful illness. Thomas John McQuoid, dearly beloved husband of M/iytha McQuoid; aged 34 year?. Deeply regretted by all who knew him. A good husband and father, and a kind friend. His end was peace. The funeral will loave his late residence for St. Andrew's, Epsow, to-morrow (Sat/urday), at 3 p.m. PATERSON.-Gn January 21. 1897, at Auckland. Gladys Alma, dearly beloved and only daughter of Logan and Nancy Paterson: aged 2 years 4 months.—Napier and Christchurch papers please copy. Private interment.
