In reference to transfers from fche Permanent Artillery to the police force theComnieuder of the Forces, Colonel Polo-Peaton, haa reported that ib is undosirablo bhub any transfers should take place unless after three years from date of enrolment, and that in future any men enrolled in bhe Permanent Artillery or Torpedo Corps must remain there for three years before being traneferred. This is not) to apply to those who have, been enrolled prior' to the new regulations coming into force, but in respeqt to thefee at least one year's service in the Permanent Artiiiory or Torpedo Corps will be required,
