The return of the Australian Eleven has brought with it a renewal of the warfare with the Council. Mr Musgrave Btates that the result of tho test match in Sydney producod £9CO, bub the balance-sheet shows £1,125 17s Id, and in addition £300 wae advanced for the purposes of tho tour. A stipulation was made thab the latter amount should be repaid oub of the first takings in England, bub the money was nob forthcoming until October 1.
