COROMANDEL RACING CLUB.

Our correspondent writes : The racea wbicta are to take place ab the Tiki racecourse on Boxing Day give every promise of being highly successful. Tho number of entries received for the diflerent events is well up to the average, while the excursions from the Thames and Auckland should induce a large number of pleasure seekers to mako the trip. The privileges hi cannection with the meeting were sold to-day by Mr F. D. Yongo. The gates realised £37, Mr Reynolds; publican's booth, £23 10*, Mr O'Brien ; refreshment booth, £2 10s, Mr Blackwoll; raca card 3, £10, Mr Anderson. The following is a lieb of entries roceived for the different events. Entries for the Maiden Plata and Pony Race close on the 19th inst. : —
