Tha manager telegraphed to day :— "Large stone, and rich specimens coming to fond from No. 2 level last night." The manager also reports by letter : " I am still at (j De afe«v pounds of picked stone daily lorn the reef in the rise and stopes at No. Uetel. The reef in the winze to connect with No. 2 level varies from one to three (jet in thickness. The reef shows nice jabi »n the ore quite freely, the quartz being of a hard, bluish nature. At the western end there is about six feet ot quartz and mullock mixed."
