Wellington-, Friday. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association held to-night Mr Seymour Thorno George (Auckland) was elected a Vice-Prosidenb, and Mr E. W. Burgess was appointed the Association's representative at Auckland. It was decided by 33 votes to 27 " That the Managing Committee of tho New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association consider a schema for providing the prize money for champion events at championship regattas, and if found practicable bben Bcbeme to apply to this season.'"
