A Straying Hoese.—Geo. Cook waa fined le, and 15s costs, for allowing his horse to stray on the Alten Road Reserve.
Football in the Streets.— Five Bmail boys named Frederick Over, Frank Stewart, John Clarke, Charles Gorman and Walter Wood* were charged with having on the 15th of Augusb played football in Fortstreet to the annoyance of John Chambers contrary to the' Police Offences Act.—The bayg pleaded guilty, and Sergeant Gamble described the nature of the offence.—Mr Norbberofb cautioned the defendants nob to play football any more in Forb-street, and adjourned the case till tho 16tb inst. to »cc now they behared.
