The sensation of to-day on the Stock Exchange was the run on Bunker's Hill, Welcome Find and New Golconda shares. The former ran from 10s 9d bo 13s 6d and then fell bo Us. Welcome Finds sold from 6a bo 7e, and then eased off while New Golcondas rose from 2s 4d to 2a 9d, with further buyers at 2s 7d. Hauraki Norbh shares were again in strong demand, contributing selling as high as 6s 6d, and paid up ab 7'; 6<i. In consequence of this there was a better feoling as regards other Cosomandel stocks. Kuaotunu shares generally bad little business, while in Thames shares bhe only advances were in Cardieans, which reached 2s 2d, and Victorias ab 4s. Purus wore a shade firmer, free sales being made ab 6s, with steady buyers ab bhab price. In Upper Thames stocks, Hercules advanced a little, and Alphas sold freely at from 9a 6d to 10s, but Grace Darlings, Porbseas and Centrals were all a little easier. Crowns were still wanted ab 50s, and Woodstocke ab 43s 6d.
