Business was very brisk on the Exchange this morning. .Grace Darlings advanced from 3s 10d to .4s 6d, bub eased oil' a little labor on. Portsea shares also rose to 3s, bub subsequently sold ab 2s lOd. Comsbocke and Broken Hill Bhares were in demand and sold freely. Puru Consolidated shares sold at 6s, at which figure more were offered. Centrals were also in demand, and sold at 2s 9d and 2s Bd. Talisman Extended shares were also a shade firmer, and sold up to 3s Id. In K'<jf.otunu stocks fair business was done, bijtl with little change in value. Midas aud. Maori-. Dream shares sold ab Is 9d, Golden Links aud Golden Anchors at Is 4d. Big business was done in Coromandel stocks. Bunker's Hill shares advanced from 9s lOd'to lis. bub were easier later on, being offered ab 10s 9d. Welcome Finds sold ab 5s 6d, and New Golcoudas up to 2s 4d. The demand for Hauraki North shares was very strong, paid-up selling at 7s 2d, and contributing ao 6s 3d.
