THE DISPUTED SETTLEMENT IN ST. ANDREW'S.
(To the Editor.)
Sib, — The Rev. Mr Robertson, in the " Herald" of this morning, speaks of St. Andrew's dispute as a " painful case." Does be mean painful fer the small minority who do nob want the Rev, James Milne, M.A., ef Sydney, as a pastor, and who know that such a large majority of sup porters as Mr Milne has must rule in the end ? Mr Robertson's letter ia in very bad taste, coming from one of,-the judges in a matter thaois to be tried and decided upon this evening by Mr Robertson himself and others. We who wish fco see fair play hope that tbs comßuseioners will urge at the meeting this eveaing that Mr Robertson be nob allowed to tako any parb in tho proceedings on account of having written this letter while the matter was sub judice, he being a member of the Presbytery.—l cm, etc., Secretary of Ladies' Meeting.
