THE CHARGE UPON INDIA.
Cairo, July; 6. The Egyptian troops hare advanced to Kpsheh. It is reported that 20,000 Dervishes, who.are resolved to fight, are massing at Dongo?a. There is some tension between Osman Digna and the Khalifa, owing to the latter denuding the Suakio district of men and arms.
Nine deaths hare occurred from cholera among the troops at Wady Haifa.
London, July 6.
The "Times" states that the Government's decision to make India pay a portion of the cost of the Suakim Brigade causes indignation and surprise in India. Many members of the House of Commons condemn this action.
