At a meeting of the Ward Farmers' Association, held on Saturday, it was decided to adjourn for a week to enable the farmers who could nob reach town, owing to floods, to attend. The Chairman, Mr Ward, delivered a short' speech. The motion was P asaed unanimously, expressing sympathy wibh .Mr Ward in his present troubles. aBBU«ng him of unabated confidence, and hoping ho would soon be able to extricate himself from his unfortunate position. Messrs Ward and Lee-Smith addreaa a public meeting in, the theatre to-nicbb.
