The Way of Life.
Br Father Ryan.
Some find work where some find reßt § And so the weary world goea on. I sometimes wonder which is besb. The answer somes when life is gone.
Some eyes sleep when some eyes vroko, And ao bhe dreary nigh* hours go. •Some hearts beab where others break. I often wonder why 'bis so.
Some will fainb where some will fighb ; Some love the bent and some the field. I often wonder who aro right— The oneß who strive or those who yield
Some hands fold where other bands Are lifted bravely in the strife, And so through ages and through lands Move on the two extremes of life.'
Some feeb halb where some feeb tread, In tireless march, a thorny way ; Some struggle on where some have fled [ Some seek when others shun bhe fray.
Some swords rnst where others clash ; Some fall back where some move on; Some flags furl where others flash. Until bhe babble baa been won.
Some sleep on while otkers keep The vigils of the true and brave, They will nob rest till roses creep Around their names above a grave.
