Judgment was given for plaintiff in each of bhe following undefended cases: — Kauri Timber Company v. A Shosbrom, £3 13s 7d ; same, v. W. T. Brown, £6 9s Id ; W. Murchio v. H. Howe, £3 5a ; A, Wrighb v. F. D. Tongo, claim £8, judgmenbfor £4 ; J. Lawßon v. G. T. Tborp, £1 10s ; E. Stephenson v. R. Hay, £2 ; C. F. Cooper v: VV. H. Pabterson, 19s 6d ; Milne and Choyco v. E. A. Bewes, £2 lis 6d ; J. Slator v. C. Curtis, £2 14s. defended case. H. McGeeuan v. J. A. Kelly.—Plaintiff claimed £1 19s as due to him for some grooming work done for defendant. Afber hearing the evidence, His Worship gave judgment for the amounb claimed with eosta. DEFENDED cases, 11. M. Wilson v. F. H. Whalley.— Claim £20 for money lent. —Mr Parr appeared for plaintiff and Mr E. C. Beale for defendant. From bhe romarics of counsel and bhe evidence ib appeared bhab the parties were formerly in partnership as surveyors, and the question in dispute waß whether the money said to have been lent was in connection with a privabeor partnership accounb.—His Worship gave judgment for plaintiff wibb £3 12s costs.—Mr Beale asked bhe Court bo sfcsy execution until the partnership accounts wero gsne inbo in June by the Supreme Court.—His Worship pointed oub bhab if defendant had paid bhe money to the partnership be could claim for ib when the accounts were adjusted, K. DE M ONTALK V. F. EL, WHALLEY. — Claim for £7 ss, for wagoß due.—Mr Baume appoarod for plaintiff, and Mr E. C. Beale for defendant. —His Worship after bearing the evidence of the parties gave judgment for the araeuDb claimed with £1 16s costs.
