Ono Scholarship of the annual value of £50, tenable for three years, will bo awarded at the end of October. 18St> , This Scholarship is open to all persons, male or female, bornin the Colony of New Zealand, who at the time of examination shall bo between the ngas of sixteen and twenty years, and who shall satisfy the Council of the College that neither they nor their parents or guardian* are able to provide a University Education for them without pecuniary aid. Candidates will bo examined in (1) Mathematics. (2) Phyoical Geography, (3) Animal Physiology, and (1) Botany. The standard for the Examination will be the same as that for the Junior Scholarship of the University of New Zealand. Special weight will be given to attainments ami capacity in Animal Physiology and Botany.
