The annual athletic match between London and Cambridge University Abhlotic Clubs was decided ab Cambridge on March 14th, when the home team won by no fewer than seven events to two. About bhe best performance was Fitzherbert's 440 yds in 50 2 sth sec, while J. ,A. Halliday (Cambridge) won the Throwing the Hammer, with 105fb lOLh. The long jump waa only contested by TBur Cantabe, bub it excited a lob of interest. E. Batchelor secured firat place with 20ft 9in and Mendelson, the exNew Zealander, was second with 20fb 6in. After the sports E. Batchelor was given hia full blue for tho Long Jump, and Mendelßon was chosen as his partner.
