A packed house greeted the TnpU. Alliance last evening at the Agricultural Hall, when the combined circuses of Klaer, St. Leon and Barnard gave an entire change of pro gramme. The performance opened with Mens. Oasis on the horizontal bars, _»«tj» •rbisfc gave a. performance of -.truly JfUAOC ful nature, some of hi. feats being witnessed for the first time ia Auckland. Mr v. Hogan's two bare-back riding ™bB at "**? very clever, the crupper act being especially good. Little Amy Estelle her firs' Appearance in a bare- backed riding act, and gob through her work « a very creditable manner for so young> W artist. La Petite Ethel, the child trapeze artist, in tho first part went through her performance on the mgn .raJeS. in a manner thab took the audience by storm, and after doing the double dislocation, dived into the net from her trapeze, amidst hearty applause from all_P» rb*°f the house. In the second part of -be programme she went through some marvellous contortions. The various acts of the trained monkeys, introduced by Messrs Klaer and Bernard, caused screams ot laughter from the audience. The jumping dog Laddie, and tho trick ponies, also contributed a strong item on the programme. In facb, the performance righfr through was an excellent one, and met wibh the entire appreciation of the crowded audience. The samo programme will be repeated to-night, and a matinee will be held on Saturday afternoon.
