The Heads school ia increasing in numbsra under the able tuition of Misa F. Melsop. The Awitu Road Board are about) to carry out some very necesßary work on the road 3 throughout the district. Tenders are out for road formations, cutti<)£3, and channellings, Ib is hoped the Board will see thab part of fche road running to the wharf through Mr John Garland's property, B8 far as the junction of Well's Road, is repaired.
