Mountain Flower (Ruaotuno.)—The manager reports : 1 Btarted operations on the property to cut ouo a face in order to lob a contracb to drive a crosscut three hundred feet which will intersect two lodes outcropping on the surface. i accepted the lowest tender for the contracb and work on ib has been commenced and fourteen feet have been driven through a favourable class of country. Several men are now employed and a smithy, etc., is being erected.
