The Otahuhu Lawn Tennis Club had an afternoon of progressive tennis last Saturday. The gentleman's prize was won by Mr P. A. Vailo. For the ladies three secured the same dumber of points, Misses Gray, Gould, and Mrs Vaile. In the playoff Mrs Vaile won. The game proved a very pleasant aftornoon's amusement. Mr T. Long, the energetic Secretary of tho Club, superintended the arrangements for the afternoon. Ib is proposed bo hold v handicap tournamonb in connection with the Club at 0| early date. .tin
