Tho weakly returns of tho Bank of England published to day show tho total reserve to be £34,158,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities 58"82. Three months bill are discounted at 1£ per cent. New South Wales 4 per cents, 116; 3£ ditto, 1054 ! Victorian, 108J ; South Australian, UQ£ and 106; Queensland, 109 and 103g ; Now Zealand, 109J and 103; VVeeb Australia 4 pct1 cents, 121 ; Tasmania 3J per cents, 104. New Zealand longberried wheab, nominal. New Zealand hemp and frozen mutton are unchanged. Lamb, sd. South Australian wheab ex warehouse, steady, 28s 6d ; Victorian quieb, 23s 9d. Sugar is firm, German beet, 10s 9d ; Java, 12h 10£ d. No. 1 best Scotch pig iron, f.0.b., in Clyde, 45s 7£d. Silver, 2a 6£d.
