DROWNED IN A VAT OF BEER.
Melbourne, November 8. Ab the inquest on tbe body of Lindsay, who was found drowned in a beer vab at bhe Metropolitan Brewery on Tuesday, a verdict of accidental drowning was returned, it ia supposed that he was overcome by the fumes of the beer while .examining tbo vats, which contained a thousand gallons. The contents were run into the street gutter.
