BATHING FATALITY.
A GIRL DROWNED.

Nelson, this day. A bathing fatality occurred here yesterday afternoon. Al4 year old daughter of Mr Last Harris, with a younger child, weub to bathe in the Maifcai River, which waß slightly swollen and discoloured by recent rain. The girl, who could only swim a few sbrokes, oppears to have gob oub of her depth and became flurried. On her sinking the child ran for assistance, which was obtained, but when tho body, which was carried down the sbream into 12 feeb of water, was recovered, life was extinct.
