Tallow.-—There is rather better demand. New Zealand fine mutton tallow is worth £1 3s 3d per cwt; good beef tallow is worth £1 Is 6d per cwb.
Frozen meat. — Mubton market firm. Canterbury and Wellington mutton is worth 4d and 3|d per Ib, respectively.
