FOUR PERSONS MURDERED.
HORRIBLE MUTILATION OF THE
BODIES,
London, Angufeb 12, A grime of a shocking character has been perpetrated ab Notts. A man named Wright), who Wftß in lodgings, seb fire to the house and then cub the bhroab of his landlady, Mrs Reynolds. He afberwards cub the breaste of Mra Reynolds's baby and disembowelled her. Wrighb then killed two of Mrs Reynolds'e sons, aged 15 and 16 years respectively, by cutting their throats, and murdered a four-year-old child, grandaon of his landlady. In each case the murderer disembowelled hie victims. Wright completed his ghastly crime by attempting to take his own life.
It is rumoured bhab Wright wished to marry the landlady, but that sha refused bis advances, and that he carried out the murders as a means of revenge.
