Wild R ose y . Essex—The lafcber won by 16 points to 4. Tries were secured by Stone, McCarthy, Judd, Parkes, two of wjuch were converted by Nicholson and 5? hieker.

Arawa v. Native Rose.—The former won by ,6 points to 3. For the winners tries were scored by Graham and Bigelow. E,psom v. Mount Albert.—Epsom won by S points to nil, a try being scored by Worrall.

Wellesley-street School v. Devonport, r- Won by the former, after a very one sided .game, by ,35 points to nil. Tries wer,e scored by Moir (4), Harvey (1), Wc.Laußhlin (2), Serjeant (1), tind Young (1), while Whibley converted two tries, Young one, and Pammell one. '

JLiAiiWAY .Employees v. Pqst and Tele-ttßAPHOFFipEiis.-Thia match was played &c Ellerslie, and ended in an easy win for thfl Railway by 24 points (8 tries) to nil. Buchanan and Poland scored a try each in the first spell, which ended : Railway, 6 • Post Office, nil. In the second spell triea were scored for the Railway in rapid succession by St^hr, Boyce, Poland, Beamish, Buchanan and JSick.apn. Though all ab easy angles, none of the tries were converted. In addition bo fchotfe who scored, Smethurat as half-back, and -Brodie, Frosb and E. Brown of the forwards, played a sterling game. For the Post OiSßce, Bach, Copeland, Williams, Brown andßonngell played well. Mr Seagar, as referee, and Messrs McDuff and Laurie, as line umpilres, gave every satisfaction. Before play commenced the teams were photographed by Mr Robinson acting for Mr F. W. Edwards.' In the two matches they have played the railway have scored 61 points (19 tries, two converted) to 6 (.2 tries).
