Wellington, this day. It has practically been determined bhabtba Committee to inquire into the Bank of New Zealand Estates Company ehall be a secret one, and shall ba strengthened by the addition of additional members from each branch of the Legislature. The Committal itself, it te said, has expressed opinion to thab efiecb, and the House aud the Council will on Tuesday be asked to resolve accordingly. Certain legislator* attended a meeting of the Committee on Saturday, and declined to l6ave, so fche evidence take* was confined to formal matters, and Mr WaSson will probably be re-examined when the Committee is fully constituted and »« proceedings made private, , The Committee do nob eib to-day, ana will not meet again until four extra members are appointed. These will probo"'/ be fche Hon. Ormond and the Hon. W..W Walker, from the Council, Mr Bell and W Tanner, or Mr Allen and Mr Graham, ttom the House.
