The.manager reports that the No.-2 lode varies from 3 to 4 feet in thickness, and loois well throughout the stopes from end to end of the block which is opened up above the No. 3 level for a distance of 420 feet in length, and the whole of the ore , coming to hand therefrom gives an average assay value of over £5 per ton. Driving uouthwards on No. 3 lode was stopped pesding completion of the work now in progress for rieing on the rich ore shoot pasaed through come time since. ', Here the lode averages 2 feeb in thickness, and the average ore samples broken out and assayed on Friday yielded bullion returns ranging in value from £4 to £19 per ton.
