At a meeting of the Napier Chamber of Commerce, a resolution wat passed asking the Government to modify the proposed tariffin respect of the projected duties pit flannelette and shirtings, on the ground than the imposition of euch duties will press hardly on the working classes, and tend to restrict avenues of employment.
