A Parisian Suicide.

A sensational tragedy occurred ia Paris on Monday evening, June 24th, in a flat at 52, Faubourg Sb. Honor*., occupied by M. Carre, a prominent member of the Paris bar, who derived a large income from his practice. Towards the close of her reception in the afternoon Mme. Carre was visited by a lady who stated thab she had for the last three year's carried on an intrigue with M. Bonhoure, who overtook her just aa she was about to. swallow some poison. As he took the bottle from her hand a reporb waa heard. Bobh .rushed to the door, when M. Carre fell into tbeir arms, blood flowing from a wound in hia bead. While M. Bonhoure attempted to staunch bhe blood Mme. Carre, beside herself wibh grief, seized bhe revolver which had fallen on the floor, and.blew out her brains before her husband, who, though dying,- was in possession of his faculties. He expired an hour later in terrible agony* Mme. Carre was formerly tbe wife of a Viennese banker, from whom she obtained a divorce in 1885. M. Carre acted for herin the case, and married his client soon after tbo divorce was obtained.
