The annual concert by the Ladies' Orchestral Society will ba held in the Choral Hall this '■evening. The programme is a choice one, and there will no doubt be a large audience. Most of the instrumental iterii3 are performed for the.first time, and having been assiduously rehearsed for some time, should go exceedingly well. The Waiata Glee Club will sing several vcfcal quartettes, and songs will be given by.Miss Crowther, Mias Ethel Cave, Miss Reeve, Mr -Treuwitb, and a violin solo (one of Poussard's) will be played by Mias Amie Stevenson. Mr Gribbin is also announced to play a trumpet solo, with orchestral accomp/anient. Miss Reeve acts as conductor of- tne orchestra and'" Herr Schmitb as musical director.
