Auckland Freezing Company (trading as Michael Briggs) v. 'Ernest James. —Claim £12 38 Gd.—Defendant made no appearance.—An order was made for the payment of the whole amount on or before the 24th June. , .
-Thomas Richards-v. Thomas Pokcell. —This was a claim for possession of a greyhound dog called Rhonda, or for its value in money, estimated by the plaintiff ab £40. — Mr G; N. Brassov appeared for the plaintiff and i defendant conducted his oivn case.— Mr Brassey said the dog bad been trained by the defendant, arid the expenses incurred had been shared by both the defendant and the: plaintiff. The dog won a race of the value of £15 at the lasb Plumpton Park Meeting, and the parties had received £7 10s each. Mr Brassey alleged that the dog was owned by the plaintiff, and stated that.ib was to recover possession of the dog that' this action was -being taken,-; —The greater parb of the day was occupied hearing evidence. -
