EDEN LICENSING BENCH.
At noon to-day a sitting of the Licensing Court for the Eden district was held in the Arch Hill Hall, Mr H. W. Northcroft, S. M., presiding." Thefollowingnewapplications for licenses for old houses were dealb with :—Arbhur Dempsey, Arch Hill Hotel, Great North Road, granted subject to necessary improvements being made. Henry J. Nation, Lake Hotel, Lake Takapuno ; granted. Joseph A. Jagger, Northcote Hotel; granted subject to the necessary improvements being carried out. The following applications for transfers were granted : Arah Hill Hotel, Patrick Long to Arthur Dempeey; Northcote Hotel, Elizabeth lloid to Joseph Jagger. The following wore, grantod rene-walsof licenses: Michael Foley, Avondale Hotel Catherine Lindsay, Flagstaff Hotel, Devon" port; Henry Al Grottan. Masonic Hotel, Devonport; Mary Dickson, New Lynn Hotel. '
