Tb'e c.a. : Fiona arrived ab Suva on the 3rd inst. from Sydney. The s.a. Hauroto nailed yesterday afber noon for Southern ports.

Thelß.B. Mararoa, which left Sydney laab evening, is due ab this port on Monday evening next.

1 The B.s. Southern Cross sailed about 12.45 this afternoon for Wellington, via theccasb.

■In the Graving Dock the Mission schooner Southern Cross is having a new stern tube fitted. ,She will be ready to sail for Melanesia early next week.

The. 8.8. Wellington goes into dock for overhaul on Monday, coming out again on the 19th. Her time-table will be taken' up in the interval by the Waiotabi and Cholmeford. ;

The B.a. Taupo arrived ab 11 o'clock last night from Fiji. Mr Barnes, the purser, states that she loaded at Navua, Lovuka and Suva, leaving, the latter port on the.4th. Experienced strong southerly winds, heavy seas and dirty weather for the first two day, thence light southerly winds to yesterday morning, followed by N. W. to arrival. The s.s. Taupo, having on board parb cargo from Fiji, sailed this afternoon for Wellington.
