ACCIDENT AT WEI-HAI-WEI.

London; March 22. News has beeii received .of a collision between the British" warships Alacrity and Centurion, which has occurred in the harbour of JVei-hai-Wei. A number of seamen wene drowned in the harbour owing to the fact that a lifeboat which put off to render them assistance became nearly swamped and was rendered useless. The confusion which followed in attempting to save the men resulted in the collision between the ships. Both . vessels were rather, badly dapaaged. _<"..... ~,,,-; ■■■ -</■
