BISMARCK HONOURED.
PRESENTATION BY THE EMPEROR. ~
■--■■--.-. Berlin, March 26. While at Fjiednchsruhe^the Emperor presented Prince Bismarck with a sword of honour. The ceremony took place in the presence of the troops, and was of a brilliant character. The Emperor stated that German Kings would use the sword to prevent internal revolt in the Fatherland.
Prince Bismarck replied that the salvation of Germany depended on adherence to the dynasty. Berlin, March 28. The sword presented to Bismarck was engraved with the united arms of Alsace-Loraine.
The Kaiser said it was offered in token of gratitude for the deeds of the Prince concluded 25 years ago. He then called for cheers for Bismarck.
