A large number attended Hunter and Nolan's horae sale to-day, when a shipment of sixty horses from Sydney were offered. Draughts brought from £14 to £22 10s, and mediums from £S 10s to £15.
The death of a woman named Margaret Ann Ridling haa been reported to the police. She had been living with- her brother at Cox's Creek, and was of somewhat eccentric habits. Dr. Hooper's attention was drawn to her about three months ago, and he recommended that the woman should be 9erit to the Asylum. She refused to allow herself to be removed, and, died on Wednesday last. .An inquest will probably be held. -,--■" '"', j':.;"'" •'■ '. ,'
