Woodstock,United. — A meeting of directors in this Company was held yesterday afternoon when the question of, increasing the capital was gone into carefully. Ib was ultimately decided to call an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders for the purpose of placing before them 'a resolution authorising an increase in the capital of the company by the iseue of 95,000 new shares of 10a. each, 53 per share paid up, thus making the total number ot shares in the company 150,000. Ib is proposed to offer 55,000 of the new eharea to shareholders, • pro raia, on payment of Is per share; the remaining 40,000 to be reserved.

Hazelbank.—The manager reports there fia very little change on the No. 1 reef in the face of the drive at the No. 2 intermediate level since his last.
