PONSONBY SCHOOLS.
MORE ACCOMMODATION WANTED.
This afternoon ab the meeting of the Board of Education, the question of providing increased school accommodation at Ponsonby wasdiscuased.
The Honorary Secretary of the Ponsonby School Committee requested that a wing ba added to the Brown-streeb School (Ponsonby) to accommodate 100 scholars. The Chairman said the floor space of the school was sufficient for 186 children. There were
295 on the roll.
. Mr ,Muir moved, "That.the:. Board approach the Auckland City Council, with a view to acquiring a section'of land, on Ponsonby Road, . adjacent to reservoir,' - on which to erocfc a permanent school build*
