MARKET REPORT,
New Zealand Loan and JMkkcantr Agency Company (Limited).
On Tuesday tho 15th inst., we hold our usual weekly auction sale. There was a large catalogue of hidos, skin 3, wool, etc., and every line was cleared under good competition. Pricos for hides were firmer, and skins were sold at late rates. Wool (in bags) realised slightly better prico3. Quotations are : Hides, prime stoub ox, 5d to 5Jd per lb ; heavy stout, 4d to 4M ; ordinary stout, 3d to 4d; light and medium, 2d to 2fd ; cow, ljd to 2£d ; kip, np to 2d ; calf, up to 3d ; stags, up to lid ■ cow hair B|d per lb.
