Betting : 4to 1 v. Ury, 5 to 1 v. Creme dOr, 6 to 1 each v. Form and Rebel Queen, 8 to 1 each v. Sir Georgo and Engineer, 10 to 1 v. others.
Sir George, Form and Ury forced bhe pace, attended by True Blue and Engineer. Sir George carried on bhe running righb merrily until the distance was passed, when Form, Engineer and True Blue were on even terms, bub the last-named had a lob in hand, and eventually won rabher easily by three-quarters of a length from Form, who had Engineer ab his quarter. Loch Leven was a good fourth, and was attended by Forb, Ury, Memoir, Rebel, Queen and Coolalta, while Melancbhon was lasb. Time, lmin 2fsec.
