A boy named Hunt, whose parents reside in Wakeßeld-streeb, was admitted to the Hospital this morning sufforing from injuries to two fingers of his left hand.-.,1t was subsequently found necessary to amputate the two fingers. The annual meobing of the subscribers of tho Jubilee Institute for the Blind will be held to-morrow at the office of Mr F... A. White, SI, Queen-street, at three o'clock, to receive tho trustees and principal's reports, nnd to olocb trustees. ~.,.. The yacht Waitangi, which was recently launched by Mr R. Logan for some gentle- i men in the south, leaves this evening for tho home ot her owners, Wellington. The yachb, which is of about 10 tons, rating, will be sailed down by Captain Butt. Her builder and four othors, including the captain, go down with bhe yacht. "The Waitangi will Have to mako a fairly' smart passage, as she is to take parb in the Wellington annual regatta which ia hold on the 22nd instant.
