The former especially is looking mellow. Elswick is coming into favour for the Caulfield Cup, being steadily backed until 100 to sis now the beat offer. Theodore is also hardening, and divides favouritism with Bruin ab 100 to 6. Both Capstan and Ruenalf are easier. Launceston has been supported to win the Caulfield Cup for £1,000 ab 100 to 4. After 500 to 100.had been accepted about Dreamland for the V.R.C. Derby his price shortened to 4 to 1.
Carnage is favourite for the Melbourne Cup at 100 to 7.
